The most southern of the Canadian Gulf Islands with over half the island designated as National Park, Saturna is remote with a small population. We'll chat with the locals, view incredible vistas and stroll areas less travelled. If we’re lucky historic East Point Lighthouse is one of the best vantage points to view killer whales from shore. Visit the General store where everything happens here, home to the post office, liquor store, cafe and gossip hub. Lunch is served in the Island's double decker bus cafe. The best sunsets are from the deck of the local pub and after checking into the Lodge we visit the pub for the views and chats with the locals.
Mayne Island, known by locals as the ferry connecter to other islands and the mainland. We'll sightsee Mayne Island visiting the lighthouse with views across Active Pass and on a clear day see over to the mainland. The museum housed in the original Jail displays the past of Mayne Island and the Gulf Islands. Stroll around the back where old farm equipment is on exhibit. Mayne offers a beautiful Japanese Garden created in memory of past residents interned during the war years. Lunch will be served at the Gulf Island’s oldest running Inn. Relax until our next ferry arrives. We call Pender Island home tonight.

This 4 day excursion is for those wishing to experience a less traveled destination. The Canadian Southern Gulf Islands are each unique. Some are remote with only one store with less than 400 people, others offer vibrant villages. You‘ll tour with a local guide who knows the best places and people to meet along our journey.
First Nations have been calling these Islands home for thousands of years. The "Penders" north & south Islands are connected by bridge. Stopping at some of our favorite beaches there’s time to beachcomb and just relax. Free time to enjoy your 5 star accommodation, go for a forest stroll or try the hotel’s spa. We’ll visit a wonderful Art Studio offering jewelry known to be favoured by celebrities. The studio also displays and sells rare art such as Warhol and Monet always a treat for the art lover. Lunch will be served at the local pub. Challenge someone to a game of pool.
Your head rests tonight at our seaside resort where we’ll have Dinner.
Salt Spring Island

Salt Spring island is the largest of the Southern Gulf Islands, rich with art galleries, rare vintage book stores, clothing boutiques and home based artisan foods, crafts and libations.
You’ll visit a cheese farm and taste all their wonderful offerings. Leisure time to explore the popular Ganges seaside village. We’ll visit a few home based studios for food, libations and one of a kind treasures. We have a group dinner tonight before we say good bye the following day in Victoria.
