Lunch and So Much More
$95 FEB 1, MAR14
Our first stop, Whiffin Spit (Sooke) a natural breakwater between the
Juan de Fuca Strait and Sooke Harbour.
The 20 minute walk will work up our appetites, then off to Point-No-Point
Resort for our ocean side lunch located on the rugged Southwest coast
of Vancouver Island. There's always enough binoculars to go around so
you can keep a sharp eye while enjoying your meal.
After lunch we'll visit the Sooke Region Museum. Repeat visitors will
find the excitement of new displays.
$100 FEB 29, MAR 21
We'll stop first at Goldstream park for a leisurely stroll, the lure is
towering ancient trees and a lush temperate rainforest.
The Goldstream nature house is just a short walk for those inclined.
Lunch time is "The Aerie" The Aerie rests 1500 feet above the
ocean with incredible views of Greater Victoria, The Saanich Inlet, San
Juan Islands and Washington State. The Aerie is considered to be the gateway
to the Cowichan Valley which is thought to be the next Provence.
They'll be no rushing here, time to enjoy every last drop of gourmet delights
and spectacular views.

Charters has all the ingredients for a memorable dining experience: tantalizing
West Coast cuisine, spectacular ocean views. Located on the shores of
Cordova Bay with easy beach access for an after lunch stroll or beachcombing.
Then we're off to Mattick's farm for a relaxing visit in stylish atmosphere,
an intriguing browse through unique shops, pick up fresh flowers and produce,
find foods and wines to go.

This idyllic mountainside resort offers guests inspired dining in an atmosphere
of ultimate indulgence. Big skies and stunning natural terrain form the
backdrop.
Bring your bathing suits for a before meal dip in their heated salt water
pool, Jacuzzi and saunas, then we saunter next door for lunch, if time
allows we'll venture over to the newest shopping complex, Canwest Mall,
something for everyone.

The newest addition to Sidney Water front village. Haro's waterfront offers
sweeping views of the waterfront park, ocean, and Mt. Baker, this restaurant
combines west coast ambiance with gracious island hospitality.
After lunch, time to explore Sidney on your own, plenty of bookstores
and boutiques, guaranteed to satisfy the serious shopper or take a sauntering
stroll along the waterfront boardwalk.
$99 JUNE 13
The Satellite Bar & Grille dining room's eclectic menu offers a wide
range of beautifully presented dishes made with the freshest ingredients.
And the view is nothing less then spectacular.
Before lunch we'll visit Cherry Point Vineyards for a few sips of their
finest.
After lunch we'll visit my favorite little winery for their finest in
dessert berry wines, Silverside Winery.
