The most popular of all the Gulf Islands, Salt Spring Island offers something for every visitor. The beauty of the Island has drawn to its shores the most creative of souls. Known through North America for its outdoor market, featuring unique crafts, music, organic produce, and other edible delights, Saturday on Salt Spring provides a feast for the all the senses. This is a full circle tour, entering Salt Spring from Crofton ( Cowichan Valley) departing from Fulford Harbour via Swartz Bay, Sidney.

If it's Saturday it must be Saltspring! Tours on demand, any day of the week is a good day to venture to Saltspring.

If it's not a market day ( Saturday) we'll still visit a studio or two of your choice.

The Ganges market is set in a truly picturesque location, surrounded by a shoreline park, marina, and mountain vistas.

Ganges village is the home of 'Canada's Art Lovers Getaway'. Tour 10 local galleries within steps of one another, featuring both regional artists and others from around the world. Ganges is also a book lovers paradise, with wonderful book stores, featuring new, old , and rare inventory. Ganges Village is truly a shoppers delight.

If art is not your thing, the farmers market offers taste sensations of fresh-made cheeses, jams, breads, chocolates, and more. Sample or purchase a snack as you saunter to the Marina for a picnic lunch and view the boats up close as you cruise around the dock.

As we head out of Ganges there will be time to sample award winning wines at one of two local vineyards. Both wineries have unique and distinct qualities, and all wines are available for purchase. Wine sampling always proves to be a fun event, and each wine is complimented by the appropriate local cheese or piece of chocolate.

Interested in seeing a petroglyph? We'll make sure to stop and view, they are said to be thousands of years old.

Like Cheese? We'll visit Saltspring Island Cheese factory ( more a lovely farm than factory) for lots of yummy samples * note if Saturday all vendors will be at Market.

Depart for Fulford Harbour Terminal, once there your guide will save our place in the ferry line as you walk about this unique part of the Island. Discover coffee shops, local artisans and the Island lifestyle.

Depart for Victoria - Warning! It may be hard to leave.

Enjoy your Ocean cruise back to Swartz Bay.
